OGSM: A Parallel Implicit Assembly Algorithm and Library for Overlapping Grids

The assembly of overlapping grids is a key technology to deal with the relative motion multi-bodies in computational fluid dynamics. However, conventional implicit techniques for are often confronted problem complicated geometry analysis, and consequently, they usually have low parallel efficiency resulting from undifferentiated searching grid nodes. To this, method that employs two-step node classification scheme accelerate hole-cutting operation proposed. Furthermore, aforementioned has been implemented as library, which can be conveniently integrated into existing numerical simulators enable efficient large-scale multi-component grids. algorithm relevant library validated seven-sphere configuration multi-body trajectory prediction case aspects computing interpolation accuracy.
